Big Boy Adventure from Joseph Mikos on Vimeo.
I know I slacked big time when it came to getting this edit together and up online. Anyway, we definitely didn’t shoot enough of this adventure… but I did what I could with the footage we did get.

John (Sallie D from Two Guys and John Cutterwood from Real American TV), Will (the one with the drinking compilation in Pull The Alarm, and I embarked on a road trip to the nearest Big Boy Restuarant last weekend, which is located in Cleveland, Ohio. I came up with the idea after the success of the Sonic Adventure and thought it was a must to continue with a sequel to the next awesome restuarant not found anywhere in New York, Big Boy. We talked about it for a few minutes and it was settled. Turned out to be a fucking awesome trip minus the several colds circulating amongst the three of us. Awesome bars, awesome atmosphere, awesome group, awesome Browns game, more awesome bars (one of which had a mechanical bull), some fine midwestern bells, and, of course, awesome food at Big Boy.
Despite the 3 days and nights we had to film, we actually got less footage than the Sonic Adventure which was all shot in 3 hours.
There will be a short edit of what we did film online soon.
In the meantime, click on the image to check out the photos from the trip.

A new HD edit I put together… look at it as a 2008 promo video.
Distracted Midwest Trip (Cincinnati - Day One and Two) from Joseph Mikos on Vimeo.
This is the first two days of the recent Midwest Road Trip. We rode and reeked havok in Cincinnati. You can expect the rest of the trip within the next week or so. Cincinnati was where the most skating/riding took place though.
The Distracted Midwest Tour was pretty damn swell. Chris, Nick, myself, and new team skater, Travis went on a 9 day trip through the Midwest. We hit Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Louisville, and Cleveland. Every city had alot to offer. Thanks to a young lady named Morgan, we were able to find Rob Dyrdek’s or DC’s skate park in Cincinnati for one of the first stops of the tour. I lost some respect for Mr. Dyrdek when I learned that bikes were not allowed at the park. Other than that, the skaters shredded the park and much footage was collected. The following day we rode downtown Cincinnati, or the closest thing to the ghetto. Cincinnati was a cool city to hang out and ride in. We then made our way to Louisville where our hotel was only 10 minutes from one of the sickest skate parks in the country. We spent most of the 2 days we were there at the skate park and managed to film only one clip there. Alot of stuff went down at the park, but no one really wanted to pick up the camera to film it. Sunburn, hillbilly inliners and their weird rundown local spots, the longest hospital visit ever for just a few stitches to the chin, and a weird cult at our hotel pretty much sums up our stay in Louisville. And finally Cleveland was the last stop of the tour. By this point Barreto had had it with all of us and basically didn’t speak to any of us the entire first day there. We arrived at the hotel, rested, and drank in the hot tub at the hotel all night. On the final day, me, Travis, and Nick went out to Cleveland while Barreto stayed in the hotel the entire day. We rode a crappy skate park right next the the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame, got into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame for free, and then went to an Indians game. It was a great trip and a great experience with a bunch of cool dudes.
Road Trip video coming soon!

Chris Barreto has left the Distracted family. After a series of incidents on the recent Midwest road trip, Barreto decided to quit the team after the final recap session in Macedonia, OH (last stop on the trip). Chris went off on the camera during his recap cursing up a storm and hating on the riders on the tour and officially resigned immediately after. We hope Chris will rejoin us soon. We wish him all the best.
Distracted 2 Nights in April from Joseph Mikos
This is a quick edit I put together of the late night Philly session and the late night NJ session from this past week. Nothing really insane… just an HD edit I wanted to put together. Sound goes a little out of sync toward the end — not sure why. It doesn’t go out of sync on youtube, but the quality isn’t nearly as good on youtube.
I drove down to NJ last night to ride and film with Drew at his local spots. I ended up forgetting the video light that works and taking a bum one, and to top it all off forgot the tripod plate. Needless to say, we didn’t get to shoot at every spot due to lack of light, but we did get some good footage at these banks.
Here are some photos from the banks we were riding…
